INTRODUCTION TO DRILLING PRACTICES
COAL AND P&G EXPLORATION

SMRS has developed two one-day workshops specifically designed for new workers to the petroleum gas and coal exploration industries, who have little exposure to an operating drilling plant and want to improve their knowledge about drilling theories, drilling practices and safe work methods of drilling exploration holes/wells on Qld Petroleum and Qld Coal leases.

SMRS has identified the potential risks posed by inexperienced personnel, who may be somewhat unfamiliar with legislative requirements governing Qld's exploration drilling industry. This course is designed to minimise the risk posed to both personnel & new contractor companies to the industry through detailed explanation of P&G and Coal exploration drilling practices & legislative requirements.
